board: respond gates on the review card format, and a review-loop timeline in every gate header - #950
Brings the board's respond gates (plan and post) onto the review card format, and gives every review and respond gate a header that shows where you are in the review loop. The respond flow itself is unchanged: same questions, same answers.
What changed
Gate header (GateTimeline.tsx, SheetParts.tsx)
Title on the left ("Respond to Renee", "Review Dana's MR/PR"), then a timeline: round chip, the review (avatar, blue for a comment, green for an approval), then "Your response" with Plan, Fix and Post on a purple wash
The round chip opens a menu of earlier rounds once there is more than one
Replaces the old round heading and step track
Round history data
State schema v6 adds respond_rounds.outcome, written at respond launch from the reviewer's GitLab review state
attachReviews and attachRespondRounds pass each round's outcome to the page (review.outcomes, respondOutcomes)
The seat's username reaches the review sheet for the "You" avatar
Fix / reply is the kit's soft LabeledSeg, named per thread; "Add a note" is gone
Reply-only placeholder reads "Drafted at posting" with an info tip
Comments and replies open with a name line and avatar tile; replies sit on a shaded band
Lists end with the end-of-list flourish, now shared from SheetParts
Also
LabeledSeg.labels accepts a ReactNode (packages/tui-kit)
The daemon's file-diff reader matches a bare file name to the one changed file ending in it
Quieter queue head: smaller title, subtle pager and focus pane
Fixes the plan card not re-seeding its pick after the dock's reset
Follow-up
Respond history only knows outcomes for rounds launched after this ships; earlier rounds read "reviewed"
Verification
Checked every gate story in Storybook (respond plan, respond post, review first round, re-review) in light and dark. Board suite 3835/3835, tui-kit 205/205 node and 517/517 browser, board typecheck clean, purity clean.
Reset cleared every thread's pick while the cards kept showing the
agent's choice, so the tally read 0 decided and submit went dark.

Walkthrough
The pull request updates board review and response sheets with shared cards, round timelines, and outcome history. It adds fictional gate stories and updates supporting tests and styles. It also changes file-diff path matching and TUI-kit components.
The review sheet displays round history, reviewer identity, carryover reply cards, and report context. Its tests cover the updated sheet structure and labels.
The response sheet uses plan cards and unified reply cards. The DOM tests cover recommended choices, editing, holding, resolving, and submitting replies.
Storybook adds review, re-review, response-plan, response-post, and loading examples backed by fictional fixtures. Earlier component-specific story files are removed.

Merge Risk: Minimal · up to 5e4c3
The change moves the respond gates onto the review-card format and adds a round timeline with per-round outcome history. No merge-blocking defect was found. Earlier rounds without recorded outcomes display as "reviewed", as the PR describes.
Security architecture risk: Low · up to 5e4c3
The inspected changes preserve ownership and gate-answer controls, and historical outcomes do not grant posting or workflow authority. The filename fallback remains limited to the selected review’s changed files. Risk is low, with database downgrade compatibility and incomplete review coverage limiting assurance.
Retained concerns
No architecture-level concerns identified.
Security review details
Security Blast Radius
observed — The new basename fallback selects only from the already fetched file listing for the resolved repository and MR or PR. Exact paths retain precedence; fallback requires one matching basename and a non-truncated listing. The requested basename is not used to construct a filesystem read or an additional forge endpoint.
Trust Boundaries and Controls
observed — The inspected response launch path still requires a local request, a known MR with matching identity, ownership of that MR, and a reviewer target or existing history. Gate answering separately retains gate lookup, response ownership checks, and compare-and-set arbitration. Stored historical outcomes do not replace these controls.
Resilience and Maintainability Implications
observed — Round creation precedes launch dispatch. Promise rejection and focused-existing recovery delete the exact recorded round, but synchronous setup failure before dispatch has no equivalent cleanup. This ordering already exists in the PR base; the new field inherits that lifecycle limitation without establishing a new authority bypass.
