Design Overview

The remaining four patterns for the About "Culture" page (/about/culture/): Learning and Open-source, Fostering connection, Why that matters and the closing call to action. Built from the standalone prototype About Culture Standalone.html and the content doc 01-about-culture.md. This is the second layer of the stack that starts with #135.

• Section - Split Divided Text Chips: "Learning is part of the job" and "Open-source mindset" as two columns on a card band, each a dot eyebrow H2, a paragraph and a row of tinted pill labels, with a hairline divider between them.
• Section - Split Header Icon Columns: "Remote, but not isolated" with a split header above three ruled columns, each a large accent-coloured Icon block (calendar, sparkle, graduation cap), an H3 and a paragraph.
• Section - Split Statement Cards: "Why that matters" as two large cards on a card band: a plain card ("For clients") and a solid brand card ("For future teammates") with a mono label at the top and a large statement at the bottom.
• CTA - Centered Panel: a rounded, bordered card panel with the shared corner glow, a centred "Join the Team" eyebrow, H2, paragraph and three buttons. "View Open Roles" and "Meet the Team" are primary buttons; "Get in touch" is the outline button.
• Reuse first: the dot eyebrow, ls-corner-glow, the pill-label (ls-chips) and column-divider styles from the first PR, the shared buttons and the existing brand, accent and border tokens. All blocks are core blocks; no custom blocks. No new tokens (it uses surface.brand-strong and accent.warm, added in design: culture-page - Add the Hero and Sections 1-4 patterns and the warm accent tokens (LSA-108) #135).

Changes

• Patterns: patterns/sections/split-divided-text-chips.php, patterns/sections/split-header-icon-columns.php, patterns/sections/split-statement-cards.php and patterns/cta/cta-centered-panel.php. All links use home_url(), so they resolve on DEV (Careers is /about/careers/, Team is /about/team/, Contact is /contact/). Icons are the registered lightspeed/calendar, lightspeed/sparkle and lightspeed/graduation-cap.
• Styles: src/scss/structural/about-culture.scss, compiled to assets/css/about-culture.css. This PR adds only what JSON cannot reach: the mobile switch from side dividers to bottom and top rules for the icon columns and the divided pair (with a bottom gap under the first column), and the CTA heading width and balance. The lane rule from design: culture-page - Add the Hero and Sections 1-4 patterns and the warm accent tokens (LSA-108) #135 now also covers the icon columns. inc/animations.php lists the new classes (ls-col-rule, ls-divided-col, ls-cta-centered) for render_block detection.
• Closing CTA follows light and dark mode: unlike the prototype, which keeps the band dark in both modes, it is a surface.card panel so it matches the rest of the page.

Scope and exclusions

• Not in this PR: the Culture page content on DEV, SEO metadata and the manual QA. The "Why that matters" brand card relies on surface.brand-strong from design: culture-page - Add the Hero and Sections 1-4 patterns and the warm accent tokens (LSA-108) #135, so this PR cannot be reviewed or merged before it.
• Review budget: 7 files and about 340 lines against the first PR's branch, excluding the compiled assets/css/about-culture.css.

Accessibility notes

• Each section has a real H2, with H3 sub-items. The eyebrow headings are real H2 elements styled as eyebrows.
• The "For future teammates" card text is text.inverse on surface.brand-strong: white on brand blue is 5.34:1 in light mode, and dark text on cyan in dark mode. Axe reports no serious or critical violations in either mode.
• The icons are decorative; each column keeps its heading and text.
• The card and divider changes have no motion; there is no new animation.

Testing

• npm run schema:validate passes
• npm run build:css compiles; stylelint passes on about-culture.scss
• php -l passes for the four patterns and inc/animations.php
• Local, 1440px light and dark: the four sections render as the design; the "Why that matters" brand card and the CTA buttons are as intended
• Local, 390px light and dark: no horizontal scroll; the pill-label columns stack with a divider and the icon columns stack with bottom dividers
• Playwright standing suite plus the mobile-menu spec, run with SINGLE_PAGE_URL on /about/culture/ across Chromium, Mobile Chrome, Mobile Safari and Tablet, once in dark mode and once in light mode (page background confirmed each time): 115 passed, 26 skipped, 3 failed in each mode. The 3 failures are the existing "accordion summaries do not contain links (known issue: nested-interactive)" test on the header mobile menu, which this PR does not touch
