…year (LSA-107) Added - Section - Details Card Grid pattern: thirteen core Details cards in a two-column grid, each a mono brand-coloured year, a title and a bulleted list - "Expand all" toggle button (a real button element) that opens every card and swaps its label to "Collapse all" - assets/js/details-expand-all.js keeps the label in step when cards are opened one by one - Button labels are passed in from PHP so they stay translatable - details-card-grid.scss compiled to details-card-grid.css, loaded on /about/history/ and wherever the pattern renders Layout - Grid rows stretch, so two cards in a row stay the same height when one or both are open - Checked with all 13 cards open: 7 rows, none uneven Reuse - Card shell, size and list come from the core Details block and core-details.json - Hover, open and focus states come from the existing details motion file - SCSS adds only the summary weight and the monospace year, which JSON cannot reach Wiring - package.json build scripts - inc/animations.php (bundle, render marker, script enqueue) - functions.php editor style
…rs and stop closed cards growing (LSA-107) Spacing - Summary padding is 20px vertical and 26px horizontal (spacing 30 and 40) - Open card list padding is 20px top, 26px right and bottom, 42px left (spacing 30, 40 and 70), set as block attributes - Bullets and text no longer touch the card borders Borders - The shared details motion painted every open card's border and summary divider in the link accent, which read as a wall of cyan with all thirteen open - Open cards now use border.card-strong and the divider uses border.card, both existing tokens with light and dark values - A hovered, closed card still takes the accent Bug fix - Rows stretched, so a closed card grew to match its open neighbour - Cards now sit at their own height and only open cards stretch to their row - A closed card keeps its height whatever its neighbour does, and two open cards in a row still match each other - Checked: opening 2017 leaves 2019 at 66px, opening both gives 265px each, expand all leaves no uneven rows Files - patterns/sections/details-card-grid.php - src/scss/structural/details-card-grid.scss - assets/css/details-card-grid.css (compiled)
…'t blend into Open Source (LSA-107) Bug fix - Section - Stat Card Grid and Section - Details Card Grid both sat on surface.card, so with no break between them they read as one block - Details Card Grid now sits on the page canvas - Its cards use the default surface.card from core-details.json, so the canvas override is removed - With the FAQ band set to card on the page, the page alternates canvas and card from the hero to the CTA Files - patterns/sections/details-card-grid.php
…ear (LSA-107) Bug fix - Section - Details Card Grid had its own 100/100 padding (64px at 1440px), so it was taller than the sections around it - It now uses the shared Content Band style (spacing 80 top, 90 bottom, 48px and 56px at 1440px), as the Work page does - Same canvas background, so no visual change besides spacing - Matches the Timeline section's spacing on the History page Files - patterns/sections/details-card-grid.php

state instead of reading aria-pressed, while preserving the existing label
updates in the button state logic.

…l button (LSA-107) Bug fix - The button swapped its label between "Expand all" and "Collapse all" and also set aria-pressed, so a screen reader would announce "Collapse all, pressed" - A toggle that keeps aria-pressed must keep a stable label, and a label that names the next action needs no aria-pressed - The label swap stays, since the design has it, and aria-pressed is removed - The click action now comes from whether every card is open, not from an attribute - The label still follows cards opened or closed one by one Files - assets/js/details-expand-all.js

Relates to Linear LSA-107 (design: history-page - Build History page). It does not close the issue: the History page content on DEV, SEO metadata and the manual QA are still open.
Design Overview
The "Year by year" section pattern for the About "History" page (
/about/history/): "Milestones beyond the headlines" as thirteen expandable year cards with an "Expand all" button. Built from the standalone prototypeAbout History.htmland the content doc02-about-history.md. This is the second layer of the stack that starts with #132.tagName: button), and the labels are passed in from PHP so they stay translatable.core-details.json; hover, open and focus states come from the existing_details-motion.scss. The section uses the shared Content Band style. No new tokens.Design Files / References

patterns/sections/details-card-grid.php,src/scss/structural/details-card-grid.scss(compiled toassets/css/details-card-grid.css) andassets/js/details-expand-all.js. The SCSS owns only what JSON cannot reach: the summary weight (the shared details motion resets it), the monospace year (an inline<strong>in the summary), the open-state border and divider colours, the summary padding, and the grid'salign-items.border.card-strongand the divider usesborder.card; both are existing tokens with light and dark values. A hovered, closed card still takes the accent.is-style-content-band(48px top and 56px bottom at 1440px, the same as the Timeline and the Work page) on the page canvas, with the cards on the default card surface. Together with the FAQ section on a card band in the page content, the History page now alternates canvas and card from the hero to the CTA.inc/animations.phpregisters thedetails-card-gridbundle (loads on/about/history/and wherever the pattern renders) and enqueues the script throughrender_block, with the translated labels added as an inline script.functions.phpadds the editor stylesheet andpackage.jsonadds the build entries.tests/helpers/accessibility.tswaits for in-flight transitions and finite animations (capped at 3 seconds) before the axe scan. Axe read the half-transparent text of the scroll-reveal timeline from design: history-page - Add the scroll timeline and stat card grid patterns (LSA-107) #132 mid-fade and reported contrast failures the settled page does not have, which made the standing scan fail intermittently.Scope and exclusions

None attached. On the local site at 1440px the card heights were measured with one card open (a closed neighbour kept its 66px height), with a row of two open cards (265px each) and with all thirteen open (seven rows, none uneven).
