Glow Reader v1.5 — truly invisible when the book is closed

Tested in extreme darkness on real glasses:

Close-the-book is now TRULY see-through. In v1.4, a closed book still left a very faint grey veil in total darkness (the display panel was on, showing black). v1.5 powers the panel down: brightness drops to zero instantly and the display is allowed to sleep, exactly like the glasses native idle state.

What to expect:

• Double-tap closes the book. A faint veil fades out over ~5 seconds as the panel sleeps, then the glass is completely clear.
• Double-tap reopens at your exact position. If the display had fully slept, double-tap twice (first wakes the screen, second reopens).
• While closed, all other taps and swipes are ignored.

Files: GlowReader-v1.5.apk = glasses (new), GlowRemote-v1.4.apk = Android phone (unchanged). Install over the old version - nothing is lost.

Two quality-of-life updates, both tested on real glasses:

Close the book (glasses):

• Double-tap the temple while reading: the display goes COMPLETELY invisible - you stay in the book, position kept, auto-play paused. Perfect for when someone talks to you.
• Double-tap again to reopen exactly where you were.
• While closed, taps and swipes do nothing, so you cannot light the display by accident.
• Z key or the phone app button do the same. Note: double-tap no longer exits to the library - use the phone Library button or B key for that.

AI summary lengths (phone):

• Choose Short (1-2 sentences per chapter), Medium (~150 words) or Long (~400 words).
• Each version saves under its own name, so you can keep all three per book.

Glow Reader v1.3 + Glow Remote v1.2 — AI summaries, book management, polish

What is new since v1.0:

Glow Remote (phone):

• AI summary of the current book: chapter-by-chapter, in the book language, using YOUR OWN API key (DeepSeek / OpenAI / Claude) - the finished summary lands in the glasses library as a readable book
• Manage / delete books on the glasses from the phone
• Simplified remote: one Back / Play-Pause / Forward row that works in every mode

Glow Reader (glasses):

• Low-light mode fixed: now applies on every screen, and dims the text as a guaranteed fallback
• Words-per-minute always visible in a status line at the bottom, in all 5 modes
• Book text can no longer overlap the status line
• Books sent from the phone are stored in the shared Books folder: they survive even an app uninstall
• Updating the app never loses books, positions, highlights or settings - just install the new APK over the old one

Big update: the phone app now mirrors the book open on the glasses!

• 📑 Reader view: full book text on your phone, auto-follows the glasses position
• Table of contents dropdown — pick a chapter, the glasses jump there
• Position slider + double-tap anywhere in the text to send the glasses there
• 🔖 Bookmarks (add / jump / delete)
• ✨ Select text to highlight — shows yellow on the phone, brighter + underlined on the glasses

• Chapter extraction (EPUB chapters; detected headings in TXT/PDF)
• Highlight rendering + navigation/highlight/bookmark API for the phone app
• Reopening a book always resumes at your last position
