Serial application of the triaged APPLY verdicts from the 18 Copilot
reviews (25 threads: 16 applied here, 2 quirk-rejections citing the
ledger, 3 declines, 1 deferral). Highlights: improved-mode early returns
no longer leak stale group_clusterings/group_k_smoother across engine-
mode switches (RED-observed TDD); certify cache manifest now hashes
comments CSVs (one-time clj re-record of the 3 mod entries, done);
lru_cache on tree hashes; battery-entry dataset-mismatch guard;
slug-glob sanitization; NaN-propagating Q11 clamp; Q16 always-2-wide
comment projection; shard-bench fd/kill cleanup; docstring+test
hardening. Re-certified: battery 20/20 MATCH x2 on this tree
(battery_s6_pass{1,2}.log); 647-test combined gate green.
