skills, hooks, deployment, and experiments live in ai/.
For a new machine, follow the laptop setup procedure.

python3 dev-tools/scripts/check-repo-docs /path/to/repoDeveloper setup and documentation tools do not require AI dependencies.
make setup installs developer packages and configuration after prerequisite
checks. make setup-ai optionally installs AI tools and restores the separate
AI authoring environment. Run make help for individual setup commands.

Future work belongs in the Toolbox Linear project. Existing Personal AI Tools issue URLs and dated records remain valid history. The public AI-only repository remains a separate, reviewed publication.
