data-pivot is a data analysis tool for IDEA, designed to provide developers with convenient object-relational mapping navigation and data querying and reporting analysis functions.

Usage Advantages
In complex database scenarios, such as dealing with numerous database tables, multiple fields, or special naming rules, data-pivot can significantly reduce repetitive and mechanical manual operations, greatly improving development efficiency.
Database Support
Since 2.x, data-pivot targets IntelliJ IDEA 2025.3+ and reuses the bundled Database Tools support in IDEA. Navigation and metadata discovery are based on IDEA data sources; query SQL generation is currently maintained for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
The plugin does not bundle JDBC drivers anymore. It loads the driver already configured or downloaded by the IDEA data source, which keeps the plugin package small. It does not claim support for every database or dialect supported by IDEA; MongoDB and other non-JDBC/data-source-specific dialects are not supported by the query feature in 2.x.
Future Plans
In the future, we will continue to expand and optimize the plugin's functions, providing more configurable strategy mappings and configurable report scripts, while also adapting to more databases.

Restart the IDE after installation.

If a data source driver has not been downloaded or configured in IDEA, data-pivot cannot create the JDBC connection. Configure the data source in IDEA's Database tool window first.
