You have support for applications in vp create, so my suggestion is to add Tauri (https://tauri.app/) to the list of templates.

Is there a current Tauri application template? It should be ready to use directly.

Yes, there is, which is why I think it should be easy to add Vite+ without managing migrations.
It's not hard to do, but right now it require manual step because of some error of merging configs.

Oh, may be I didn't know full extent of the tool.
First of all I had existed project that I work for about a month, so I didn't create new one. I migrated it instead and I had several errors which led me to think that adding it would be a good idea.
Second is that I used interactive mode and select only available options, so I wouldn't know that there is this way. Does it create new project with Vite+ or just Vite?
