A console-based Expense Tracker developed using Python. This project allows users to add, view, update, delete, and search expenses, track spending, manage a monthly budget, and generate useful spending reports through a menu-driven interface.

Expense and budget information is stored in a JSON file named expense.json.
The program automatically loads saved data when it starts and saves changes when expenses or the budget are updated.
The Reports section provides:
- Highest Expense
- Average Expense
- Total Spending
- Monthly Report
The Monthly Report also provides a category-wise breakdown of the current month's spending.
The Expense Tracker includes a monthly budget system that:
- Allows the user to set a monthly budget
- Tracks spending for the current month
- Shows the amount spent and remaining
- Warns when spending reaches 80% of the budget
- Displays when the budget has been exceeded
