Problem and result

The verified custom domain is now the public site address, but canonical, Open Graph, X card, structured data, and sitemap URLs still point to the old GitHub Pages path. Point these URLs to https://www.desktoptools.cc/ and update the SEO test and website documentation.

Validation

  • node --test tests/website.test.cjs tests/website-seo.test.cjs tests/website-navigation.test.cjs tests/website-interactions.test.cjs tests/website-ambient.test.cjs (5 passed on Windows).
  • git diff --check passed.
  • Updated focused tests and documentation.
  • No screenshots, recordings, logs, or private files included.
  • Not tested: Full .NET test suite could not complete because NuGet advisory lookup failed with NU1900 (api.nuget.org unreachable in the sandbox); this PR only changes static website metadata.

Limitations

Search Console sitemap submission and search indexing are separate follow-up steps after merge. Link-preview services may cache old metadata.
