After unmounting a volume (stored on a USB stick), disk eject fails because of a dissenting FUSE-T process.
Expected behavior
After unmounting all volumes on a USB stick, the disk can be ejected without having to manually kill any processes.
Observed behavior
Attempted to eject and got error:
Unmount of disk4 failed: at least one volume could not be unmounted
Unmount was dissented by PID 9572 (/Library/Application Support/fuse-t/bin/go-nfsv4-1.2.7)
Dissenter parent PPID 1 (/sbin/launchd)
Steps to reproduce
- Insert USB stick (file system:
Windows_NTFS)
- Mount volume stored on USB stick through GUI
- Unmount volume through GUI
- Attempt to eject usb stick in terminal (
diskutil eject)
