Restaurant Project (Learning Project)

A multi-vendor restaurant marketplace built with Django while learning the framework.

• Custom user authentication with two roles: Vendor and Customer
• Vendor registration, profile, license upload, and admin approval system
• Opening hours management (vendors can set daily hours and closed days)
• Menu management: Categories and Food items (with images, price, availability)
• Marketplace / Cart functionality
• Order placement with tax calculation
• Payment models (PayPal / Pay)
• Customer and Vendor dashboards
• Email notifications (e.g. vendor approval)
• Location support using GeoDjango (PointField)
• Media uploads for profile pictures, cover photos, food images, and licenses

Important Note

This project was created purely for learning purposes while studying Django.

The code is not clean, not production-ready, and should not be used in a real production environment.
It is only a practice / educational project.

Feel free to explore the code for learning, but do not use it as a base for a real application without major refactoring.
