We've seen signs of excessive OpenID Connect checks for existing user authentication under light use on our sites and want to be able to tune the setting like any other.
Some pages will just end up hitting the 'Submitting ...' blip before reaching their target, while others like
filemanmay fail when they try to continue doing AJAX operations after a timeout and hit the auth check redirects, which are unhandled in the JS.
