Hi! 👋 I also wanted to leave a more personal note here. First of all, congratulations on ZPLab! I've been exploring the project, and I genuinely think you've done an amazing job. It's clear that a lot of care, effort, and attention to detail have gone into building it. It's always a pleasure to come across open-source projects that are this well thought out and maintained. I'm from Catalonia, and Catalan is my native language, so being able to contribute by bringing my own language to a project like this makes this PR particularly special to me. As a software developer, I've always appreciated how open source allows us not only to benefit from other people's work, but also to give something back. Even if it's something as simple as a translation, knowing that it might help someone else enjoy the application in their own language is genuinely rewarding. I really enjoyed working on this contribution, and I'd be more than happy to help with any improvements, corrections, or future updates to the Catalan translation. Thank you for your work, for keeping this project open source, and for giving the community the opportunity to contribute. Keep up the amazing work! 🚀 Moltes gràcies! ❤️ |

Thanks for adding Catalan and offering to help maintain it! I've reviewed the changes, and all integration checks pass. I'll add Catalan to the translation pipeline alongside the other languages. The pipeline uses AI-assisted translations, so if you notice anything inaccurate or unnatural in future updates, feel free to open an issue or submit a PR. |
Catalan Language Support (ca)
Overview
This pull request introduces Catalan (ca) language support to ZPLab, expanding the application's accessibility and making it available to another linguistic community.
Catalan is a Romance language spoken across Catalonia, the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands, Andorra, and other regions of Europe. According to the Government of Catalonia, approximately 10 to 12 million people worldwide can speak Catalan, making it a language with a substantial community of potential users.
Despite its significant number of speakers, Catalan is still underrepresented in many software applications and digital tools. Supporting it helps improve accessibility, promote linguistic diversity, and allow users to interact with technology in their preferred language.
🌍 Why Catalan?
One of the things that makes open-source software so valuable is its ability to bring together people from different backgrounds, cultures, and languages.
By adding Catalan to ZPLab, I hope to:
🛠️ Changes
ca) translations.❤️ Final Thoughts
ZPLab is an impressive project, and its attention to detail, thoughtful design, and overall quality make it especially enjoyable to contribute to.
I believe that great open-source projects become even better when people from different communities can contribute their knowledge, experience, and languages.
I hope this addition will be a small but valuable contribution to ZPLab's continued growth.
Thank you for creating and maintaining such a great project!
