Had Claude one-shot a file. I'm fine with it, unsure if there are improvements to be made yet.

Just an idea, but can you consider renaming to AGENTS.md - that way it'll be usable by GitHub Copilot and Cursor and others... (See https://agents.md/ for more info)

Thanks for sharing @coliff. For now, it doesn’t look like there’s first-class support, but the discussion mentions the ability to use symlinks to avoid duplicating content between a CLAUDE.md and an AGENTS.md. It can be limiting for some contributors since certain platforms or tools don’t handle symlinks well, but that’s probably a reasonable temporary solution while Claude catches up with what’s emerging as a cross-tool convention.

In this case, we might need to change the # CLAUDE.md so it's more agnostic.

Apart from that, this first version of the Markdown content looks good to me. We can make some adjustments while using it.

I just installed Next.js for the first time today and noticed the create next-app@latest my-app script installs both an AGENTS.md (with all the content) and a CLAUDE.md with just a single line referencing/linking to the AGENTS file: @AGENTS.md. Maybe worth doing that?
