I'm Tommaso Trotto, a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Integrated Remote Sensing Studio at The University of British Columbia. My main focus is on β¨ lidar and satellite β¨ applications to continuously monitor forest resources and update inventories in the Canadian boreal forests.
I started to develop tools for faster raster data processing, and am actively working on a library for lidar data manipulation! My primary programming languages are Python and Rust.
- rusterize: Rust crate for extremely fast geometry rasterization with ports to Python and R
