fix(deps): update tokio to 1.53.3 for RUSTSEC-2026-0386 - #112
Conversation
tokio below 1.53.3 is flagged by RUSTSEC-2026-0386 (AsyncFd constructors violate I/O safety), which turns cargo-deny red. 1.53.3 has the same dependencies and rust-version as 1.53.1, so only the lock entry moves.

Summary
Updates
tokiofrom 1.53.1 to 1.53.3 inCargo.lock. RUSTSEC-2026-0386 (tokio::io::unix::AsyncFdconstructors violate I/O safety) flags every tokio below 1.53.3 on the 1.53 line, which turns thesupply-chain(cargo-deny) job red on main and on every PR.This is a two-line lock edit: the version and the checksum. The checksum is copied from the crates.io index entry for tokio 1.53.3.
Related issue
None. The advisory is https://rustsec.org/advisories/RUSTSEC-2026-0386.
API or behavior changes
None. In the crates.io index, tokio 1.53.3 lists exactly the same dependencies as 1.53.1 and the same
rust_version(1.71), so no other lock entry changes and MSRV is unaffected. 1.53.3 deprecates the safeAsyncFd::new/with_interest/try_new/try_with_interestconstructors. This repository does not call any of them.Validation
--lockedbuild first so a lock that does not resolve fails before anything else. Results will be posted here.Tests
None. This is a dependency patch bump.
Documentation
Not needed.
