GNOME Shell extension that puts sticky notes right on your desktop
Features
- Write in markdown: bold, italic,
code, bullets and- [ ]checkboxes you can tick off with a click - Paste links and click to open in your browser
- Paste an image with
Ctrl+Vand it shows up in the note; drag on it to resize - Pick a color per note from the palette, or set a default in Settings
- Drag notes anywhere, resize them, hide them all from the panel button
- Plays nice with desktop icon extensions like DING
Clone the repo and run:
make installRestart the shell (Wayland: log out and back in, X11: Alt+F2, r, Enter), then:
make enableYour notes live in ~/.local/share/sticky-notes@banerjeesuvan.github.io/,
so they survive reinstalls.
