Superseded — closing rather than resolving the conflicts. The positioning line this PR proposed landed in #56 (and without "with memory", per the later decision to keep the headline to the category and let the paragraph carry memory). Main is now 3.14.1, so the 3.12.1 bump here is also stale. The remaining piece — methods → skills in the public copy — is in #60, rebased on Main. |

Summary
FDEOps described itself three different ways depending on where you landed — README hook, npm description, plugin manifests. This settles on one line, chosen by @suboss87:
It names the ICP in the first three words, so an FDE self-identifies before reading anything else, and it stops us competing in the crowded "agent skills" category on breadth we don't have — memory is the differentiator, skills are the delivery mechanism.
Applied to
README.md,package.json,plugin.json,.claude-plugin/plugin.json, and bothmarketplace.jsondescriptions. The README's old hook ("your agent forgets your client every morning") isn't lost — it moves down into the opening paragraph, where the pain belongs once the category is established. The last three "second brain" phrasings went with it (
AGENTS.md,skills/fde/SKILL.md,docs/skills-reference.md) — vague, and taken.Version: 3.12.1, and why not 3.12.0. The
v3.12.0tag exists but the publish step failed onENEEDAUTH— the repo still has noNPM_TOKENsecret — so 3.12.0 never reached the registry. Rather than re-point a pushed tag, the CHANGELOG marks 3.12.0(tagged, unpublished)and 3.12.1 becomes the first release carrying the vocabulary work. All four manifests bumped together, which theplugin version alignedgate checks.Docs and manifests only — no CLI behavior change.
