Brief Design Summary

This PR syncs reviewer-facing documentation after the sbom-diff-and-risk v0.8.0 release.

It updates the repository landing README, reviewer brief, reviewer evidence pack, and consumer GitHub Actions examples so current-release wording, release notes links, release asset examples, and wheel install examples point at v0.8.0.

This is docs/example-only. It does not change runtime behavior, package metadata, workflows, release tags, GitHub Releases, PyPI/TestPyPI publishing, or production PyPI status.

Files Changed

  • README.md
  • tools/sbom-diff-and-risk/docs/reviewer-brief.md
  • tools/sbom-diff-and-risk/docs/reviewer-evidence-pack.md
  • tools/sbom-diff-and-risk/docs/github-actions-consumer-example.md
  • tools/sbom-diff-and-risk/examples/github-actions-consumer.yml

Validation

  • git diff --check passed.
  • Confirmed touched current-release docs/examples no longer contain v0.7.0 / 0.7.0 references.
  • Confirmed relative Markdown links resolve.
  • Broad Unicode Cf/Cc scan found no non-tab/newline control or format characters.
  • Confirmed package metadata and runtime version remain 0.8.0.
  • Confirmed no workflow files changed and no production PyPI workflow exists.
  • No Python tests run because this is docs/example-only.

Out of Scope

  • No runtime behavior changes
  • No CLI behavior changes
  • No workflow changes
  • No package version bump
  • No tag or GitHub Release
  • No PyPI/TestPyPI publishing
  • No production PyPI workflow
