vite not starting [some dependency issue] #2141

Describe the bug
Vite is not starting. I did not try running it locally and I'm not going to.. I came to stackblitz so I wouldn't need to

Steps to reproduce
- start a new project that uses Vite (I tried svelte + ts and react + js)
- it will fail to start and display live project
Expected behavior
It would start and display the live project
Parity with Local
- I have run the project in my local machine and I could not reproduce the issue.

Additional context
seems like it has something to do with Vite dependencies, when I changed vite to use version 7.3 it worked

This was fixed for me when I downgraded vite version to "vite": "7.3" in package.json

Can someone help me turn my project to vite 7.3 I don,t know much terminal commands or vite I just started with the boilerplates in the stackblitz template

Can u please help me downgrade the vite in my projects I lack terminal skills I am a begginner coder

You don't need to use the terminal just look in your project files for "package.json" and inside it look for where it says "vite": "^8.x" and change it to "vite": "7.3"
then save the file and in the terminal type:
npm run dev
