Reading CoT

I am just wondering if you ever managed to Read CoT (extract cursor on target) out of the TAK Server?
Python script to extract the data and be able to view it in text or pump the data to an other database or application.

This script was really used to push CoT over to ATAK running on an android phone/tablet. We did not push nor pull CoT to a TAK server.

That being said, if memory serves, you should be able to connect TCP to the CoT port on the TAK server and listen for the CoT XML messages as they are published.

So far as I understand CoT, it is really a publish/subscribe service for XML messages that follow the CoT schema, primarily for pushing lat/lon tagged objects/events to be plotted on a map.
