Modernization plans and handoff documents duplicated the current guides and included obsolete implementation details. Consolidate
docs/from 12 files to 6, keeping About, API, the sorting catalog, TODO, development, and architecture.Move algorithm registration instructions into development and preserve audio compatibility and maintenance notes in architecture. Remove completed migration plans and the unused UI design study/prototype. Correct stale paths, SVG ownership, legacy redirect behavior, and dependency-version wording; retain unresolved work in TODO and update the catalog's implementation-status date and contributor link.
