Summary

  • Advance extension access-polling timers while retaining real authorization requests and native streaming checks.
  • Run desktop protocol, assistant actions, and organization search acceptance in parallel with isolated databases and apps; overlap browser installation with startup.
  • Refresh integration shard weights from complete reports and skip dependency archives that restore more slowly than installation.

Type of Change

  • Improvement

Testing

  • Root bun run test: 650 script tests passed; unchanged workspace suites reused their task caches.
  • bun run lint, bun run type-check, bun run check:audits (62 audits), block registry invariants, and all four artifact generators passed.
  • Actionlint, ShellCheck, Bash syntax, and diff checks passed.
  • Real HTTP acceptance retained all 56 desktop/assistant/search case-status pairs across three isolated parallel jobs.
  • Packaged extension acceptance retained all 31 passing checks and its existing live-provider skip against the real production app. Delaying polling to 60 seconds made the revocation check fail within its remaining five-second budget.
  • Hosted CI passed in 7m10s versus 9m53s in the preceding comparable run. Extension checks fell from 435.1s to 234.2s with identical coverage.
  • Both integration modes retained all 285 app files and 3,224 cases. Refreshed weights did not improve the observed slowest shard in this run; the measured pipeline gain came from acceptance execution.

[Medium impact] The PR appears safe to merge.

Summary

This PR shortens CI acceptance runs without changing application code.

  • Desktop inbox, assistant actions, and organization search checks run in parallel.
  • Extension access checks skip the wait for each polling interval.
  • CI jobs start browsers while apps build and skip slow dependency archives.
  • Integration test shards use refreshed run times to spread work.
