   Playwright has supported it since v1.62:

   • [Feature] Save screenshots using webp format microsoft/playwright#22984

   We currently require 1.61 or higher:

   shot-scraper/pyproject.toml

   Our --quality feature currently forces JPEG, but it should work for WebP too:

   shot-scraper/shot_scraper/cli.py

   Lines 373 to 375 in 177f5ab

   	if output is None:
   	ext = "jpg" if quality else None
   	output = filename_for_url(url, ext=ext, file_exists=os.path.exists)
