ShareMap is a full-stack web application designed to allow you and your friends to share real-time locations of all group members on a single interactive map. The project also features an in-app group messaging system, where any member can send messages that pop up at their location icon, making it incredibly useful during group travels, event coordination, or group activities.

Your privacy is our priority! ShareMap only stores basic user data such as username, name, and password. It does NOT store any sensitive information like real-time locations or chat messages on the server. All data shared between clients is end-to-end encrypted using the crypto.js library, ensuring that your data remains confidential and secure. Messages and location data are encrypted on the client-side before being transmitted, and only authorized group members can decrypt it.
