Experience highlights

  • DawnPro-GUI: Reverse-engineered Moondrop Dawn Pro’s communication protocol using Wireshark, implemented it in Python, built a GUI, and packaged it for the AUR.

  • CareTether: Led all technical development for a wearable health device startup — from ESP32 firmware to backend APIs and mobile integration. Conducted three pilot tests, iterated based on user feedback, and ran production deployments on AWS with containers.

  • FaceToJoystick: A application mainly for use in flight simulators to map head movement to your camera.

I’m currently studying Computer Systems at the University of Limerick and exploring Linux kernel development, with a goal of contributing upstream.
