Use pglite so that postgres isn't required when generating types

[seveibar]

if somebody runs bun run db:generate it should not need postgres running in the background

Defaulting --pglite to true in the generate command so users don't need a running postgres instance. Will also expose --no-pglite as an explicit opt-out for connecting to an external postgres via DATABASE_URL.

Plan:

• inspect the generate command path and how it currently requires a running Postgres instance
• default generate to use pglite so bun run db:generate works out of the box
• add an explicit opt-out path for external Postgres if the repo already supports one
• run the smallest relevant verification and then open a PR with @algora-pbc /claim #2 in the body

Implementation is up in PR #15: #15

This updates the generated db:generate script to use pgstrap generate --pglite, updates the init test, and refreshes the README copy for the new default behavior.

I will make the scaffolded db:generate script default to PGlite so it runs without a local Postgres instance, and align README + init test accordingly.

I found that current main still scaffolds db:generate as pgstrap generate and the generate CLI keeps PGlite disabled by default, so bun run db:generate can still require a running Postgres instance. I am submitting a narrow patch that makes generated projects use PGlite for db:generate, makes pgstrap generate default to PGlite with --no-pglite as the opt-out, updates the README, and adds test coverage for the scaffolded script.

Verification completed locally with bun test, bun run build, bun run format:check, and git diff --check.

Submitted PR #25 for this bounty: #25

Scope: pgstrap generate now defaults to PGlite so bun run db:generate works without a background Postgres server, with --no-pglite as the external-Postgres opt-out. The patch also restores DATABASE_URL, closes the temporary gateway/database in finally, updates README guidance, and adds regression coverage.

Verification:

• bun test tests/generate.pglite.test.ts tests/init.test.ts
• bun test
• bun run build
• bun run format:check
• git diff --check

Submitted in #28: minimal change — flip the scaffolded db:generate script to pgstrap generate --pglite (the flag exists since #1) and update the matching init test. Net +2/-2 across 2 files. bun test / bun run build / bun run format:check all green.
