Project update

I just sent you three pull requests (#84, #85, and #86) to “modernize” the project a bit, it generally works very well, but it's gotten a little “dated” after two years without any updates. If you merge them, it would be a great idea to release a new version.

Also, I wanted to let you know that if you need any help with this project, just let me know and I’d be happy to lend a hand.
