Tests: Apple Maps on a real iPhone, identifiers and a page at once - #283

The two things the Mac run left open, asked through the app's own MapKit calls on the phone, which is the only place the suite runs: - four ordinary searches gave 100 places, every one with an identifier, and searching again gave the same 100 identifiers; - 26 places looked up at once by identifier all answered, in 0.26s. Measured on an iPhone 17 Pro, iOS 27.0.1. Only counts and times are printed; nothing Apple says about a place is kept. The plan and the directory's note say what was measured; iOS 18 hardware is still unchecked. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>

PetNoteAppTests/AppleMapsDeviceProbeTests.swiftanswers the two questionsdocs/apple-maps-places-plan.mdleft for a real device, through the app's own MapKit calls (MapKitPlaceDirectory.Lookups.mapKit). It runs only on a real iPhone (.enabled(if:)); on the simulator and in CI it is skipped.Run on an iPhone 17 Pro, iOS 27.0.1, 2026-10-01:
Only counts and times are printed; nothing Apple says about a place is kept.
The plan's "verified" section, its table row and its throttling risk now say what was measured, and so does
PlaceDirectory.swift's note on throttling. iOS 18 hardware, where a developer once reported no identifiers, is still unchecked.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
