Bump version: 5.0.0 → 6.0.0 - #166
Conversation
Prepare the 6.0.0 release. The version strings in the seven files tracked by .bumpversion.toml change from 5.0.0 to 6.0.0, and the 6.0.0 changelog section loses its "(unreleased)" marker and gets today's date, a short Highlights list, and a Build & dependencies entry. The c-questdb-client submodule moves to the 7.2.0 tag. It was one commit behind it, and that commit only changes version strings, so the native code is the same; the release now pins a tagged native version. docs/installation.rst shows the questdb.__version__ value a user should see after installing, and it still said 5.0.0. It now says 6.0.0, and .bumpversion.toml lists the file so future version bumps update it too. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
