This project implements the Chip-8 virtual machine according to the technical reference written by Cowgod.
- Open a console window.
- run
git clone https://github.com/pyreking/chip-8.gitto clone this repository. - run
cd chip-8/emulatorto go to the project directory. - run
python chip8.pyto run the emulator.
- Click
Fileon the file menu and then clickOpento load a rom. - Choose a rom from the
chip-8/romsfolder in the file browser and then click theOpenbutton.
- Click
Settingson the file menu and then clickPreferencesto change the default controls. - Click on the key that you want to remap and then press any button to set the new key binding.
