Param Vaswani

I build instruments for sense-making, and write about what happens when you live inside them. The work runs under the Center for Applied Post-Phenomenologypostphenom.com.

Post-phenomenology asks what a technology does to perception. The Center makes that question practical: build the instrument, live inside it, write down what changed.

Everything here is local-first. No telemetry, no analytics, no third-party fonts or scripts. An instrument that reads your life reads it off your own disk.

The Center

Instruments

  • chronology — An interactive number line of a life's events. Structure, conjuncture and event as separate lanes.
  • terra-cognita — An inner-life cartography instrument: a life as land, time as geology, bound to a timeline of events. · live
  • interactive-venn-template — A hover-flood, cursor-reactive Venn diagram you configure in the browser. One file, no build. · live

Sites

  • postphenom — The Center for Applied Post-Phenomenology — the institution these tools ship under. · live

Personal

Sites

  • paramvaswani-site — The personal site. Artifact-format source, built to static by build.py — run it before any deploy. · live

Garden — the PKM loop

  • niwa — 庭 — a live 3D graph of your own memory, vocabulary and code, drawn as one garden. · live

Tools

  • kiku — 聞く — paste a link, a file or the words themselves; hear it, on your own machine.

Finding things

GitHub has no folders, so the structure is carried by topics:

Topic What
capp-instrument Sense-making instruments
capp-whitepaper Reproducible arguments
capp-site Public surfaces
personal-tool Things I built for myself
personal-garden The PKM loop
local-first Runs entirely on your machine

Every repo carries an AGENTS.md whose first block says where that repo sits in the whole — its role, its local path, its live URL, its siblings. Generated, so it cannot drift from the truth.

This page is generated from projects.json in the private spine repo. Edit that, not this.
