CAT via Bluetooyh is broken again

The Bluetooth connection to the transceiver has become unstable. Sometimes it fails to establish right at startup, but more often it connects and then drops after about 10 seconds, with no recovery afterward. The issue is reproducible on Android 8 and 13/14. The last version where the connection works reliably is dev.1026. The same hardware setup was used in all tests. The log can be viewed here: #759

Sure. Both version for compare. Before installing each version previous vervion was uninstalled and cache was cleared. After install setting restored from file. In all tests phone, tranceiver and bluetooth adapter was same.

I also recognized this issue with my FX-4CR. Only deactivating BT several times on both devices and restarting the app helped finally. Unfortunately, after some QSO the BT-Audio link got lost and audio was output through the phones speaker....
ATM to unstable for productive usage. But the app is a major improvement over FT8CN! Thank you for your great work.

I didn't quite understand this bug correctly at first. I've mostly always used the app in portrait mode, and in earlier versions the CAT indicator is hidden in portrait mode. But recently I was using the app in landscape mode and noticed that the indicator was red... meaning there shouldn't be any connection to the transceiver, yet in fact there was one. It turns out that with my hardware setup, this indicator always behaves this way. It's very strange, but it's a fact. So I decided to test the latest version available, and it turned out that CAT works despite the indicator claiming otherwise. So now the bug is simply that the indicator displays the link status incorrectly, or the status itself is being determined incorrectly.
