Propose publication of OpenID Connect Ephemeral Subject Identifier 1.0 as a Final specification, dated 7 October 2026, following the successful Final vote.

The Markdown is byte-identical to the updated source repository at b44817e. The technical and normative text is unchanged from voted draft03. No proposed changes from source-repository issues 20 or 21 are included.

Publication edits remove the draft number, draft Warning, and Document History; update the document date and Final metadata; remove the authors from Acknowledgements and add Michael B. Jones. The HTML includes the manual Status: Final heading requested by Michael Jones, which the current automatic generator omits.

Files proposed under connect/:

  • openid-connect-ephemeral-subject-identifier-1_0-final.html
  • openid-connect-ephemeral-subject-identifier-1_0-final.md
  • openid-connect-ephemeral-subject-identifier-1_0-final.xml

TXT and ZIP are omitted, consistent with previous publications. The source has no external includes. No additional numbered draft is proposed.

Validation: all 16 checks pass with openid/publication-checks at f7a5730f355b8f22bc1394aa26b2546d735cef4a; 26 independent content/structure checks preserve the voted technical text, numbering, links, and formal Notices. The build uses Mmark 2.2.47 and xml2rfc 3.31.0. The unchanged ISO reference returns HTTP 403 to automated requests; the official page identity was verified separately. Please review the generated publication preview before approval.

Secretary approval is requested for this Final publication.
