Checked locally in netlab on 2026-09-15, with iroh 1.1.0 applied on top of #77 (the stray-handshake fix, which the lab's direct path needs to be reliable at all):

• all 181 workspace tests pass
• plain LAN and symmetric NAT: pass, 3 runs out of 3
• full-cone NAT: fails 3 out of 3 the same way it does on 1.0.3, staying on the relay, because the lab's relay certificate blocks address discovery (see the netlab plan, "Second look, 2026-09-14"). This is not a regression.
• no authentication failed in any run

No regression seen from 1.0.3 → 1.1.0. Safe to merge once reviewed; merging after #77 lets the lab exercise it properly.
