Hey, I'm Ashok (aka @notashock)

Typing SVG

Final-year CS undergrad at SRM University-AP.
I build full-stack web apps, do research on the side, and occasionally win arguments with the compiler.

What I Work With

What I'm Into

Full-Stack Development — MERN stack from idea to deployment, clean code preferred, spaghetti tolerated under deadline
Systems Design — architectures that scale and don't collapse at 3 AM
Open Source — I'll fix the bug and the docs

Open To

Collaborating on MERN stack apps, open-source tools, and research-adjacent builds.
Also keeping one eye on AI/ML — not there yet, but the roadmap has it pencilled in with a very excited asterisk.

Dev Notes

Spent 4 hours debugging. The bug had already been fixed.

Coffee → Code → Confusion → Coffee — a proven cycle.

"It works on my machine" is not a deployment strategy. We are still learning this.
