trying to connect to more than 5 servers will result in only 5 panes

for some odd reason if I provide more than 5 servers in the HOSTS list, it will only open 5 panes..

e.g.: ./ssh-multi.sh -d "10.20.21.18 10.20.21.26 10.20.21.64 10.20.21.77 10.0.100.6 10.0.100.15 10.0.100.32" -u root

hi, strange I use it since the beginning with around 30 to 50 computers in the HOSTS list.
For 50 you need a really big screen ;-).

I just test a connection with a list of 30 computers from 2 different host : Ubuntu 16.04 (tmux 2.1) and FreeBSD 11.1 (tmux 2.5) and it works perfectly.

Are you sure all your hosts up and have ssh running ?
In my case when I use it I launcht it this way.

./ssh-multi.sh -d "$(./query-glpi.sh -t 16.04 -u)"

and "$(query-glpi.sh -t 16.04 -u)" give me a list of computer name from a glpi query that have 16.04 system and up : something like : riri fifi loulou donald picsou ...

so it run ssh-multi.sh only for up computer (query just do a ping test to check that a computer is up).

seems to be only a problem in my terminal in ARCH but not in UBUNTU....

I suggest you try terminator, a really good terminal.

launch it inside a tmux ?
in my case booth works !
