MO2 regenerates Python plugin caches when a setup moves, so the installed-baseline inventory could pin files that change during normal launch. Exclude only CPython instance-plugin caches with an ordinary adjacent source; preserve sources, bytecode-only content and all mod/game files. Existing recipes retain strict byte/hash verification. Failed ordinary-file checks now identify the relative recipe path in the actual Electron UI without advancing the successful-verification timestamp.

Record the real r4 TTW direct-menu launch and verified local Steam recording after a normal Steam restart. Complete static comparison found 13,732 exact matches, 217 regenerated caches and two pre-existing profile-order differences. A fresh recipe/reconstruction, order-drift diagnosis and gameplay/save/controller acceptance remain open; existing artifacts and recipes are unchanged.

Validation: Svelte check: zero errors/warnings; full local suite: 184 passed, one optional skip; git diff --check passed. Includes actual Electron failure-path coverage and a read-only inventory of the real original TTW installation confirming 217 cache exclusions. No game files, logs or footage enter Git.
