📌 Pull Request Description

This PR delivers a production-grade, end-to-end PostgreSQL integration test suite for AutoGraphQL. Tests run against a live PostgreSQL 14 instance in an isolated Docker container and are driven directly by client-facing GraphQL SDL.

During implementation, multiple critical runtime defects in core controllers were identified and resolved, enabling full polymorphic dual-database support across MongoDB (Mongoose) and PostgreSQL (Sequelize).

🛠️ Changes Proposed

1. Polymorphic Mutation Controller:

   • Fixed MutationController.js: Previous CRUD mutations (addDocument, updateDocument, deleteDocument) exclusively invoked Mongoose APIs (new Model().save(), .findOne().exec(), .findOneAndRemove()), crashing with TypeError when targeting PostgreSQL models.
   • Added isPgModel branching to route to Sequelize methods (Model.create(), Model.findOne({ where }), Model.update(), Model.destroy()) while preserving Mongoose behavior.

2. Sequelize Sort Order Translation:

   • Fixed sorts.js: Added convertSortToSequelizeOrder and getSortOrderForSequelize returning Sequelize order format ([['field', 'ASC']] / [['field', 'DESC']]).
   • Integrated sort translation in QueryController/index.js (getQueriedResult and getQueriedResultFromLast).

3. Filter Pipeline PostgreSQL Pass-Through:

   • Fixed getPaginationAndFilterParams.js: When isPgModel is active, bypasses MongoDB query operator transformation ($and, $or, $gt, $in) so raw GraphQL filter arguments flow cleanly into buildSequelizeWhereClause().

4. GraphQL SDL-Driven Test Infrastructure:

   • test/postgres/docker-compose.test.yml: Isolated PostgreSQL 14 Alpine instance mapped to port 5433 with in-memory tmpfs for high-performance test execution.
   • test/postgres/setup.js: Database lifecycle management, container readiness polling, dynamic model compilation, and table resets between suites.
   • test/postgres/testSchema.js: Single source of truth defined in clean client-facing GraphQL SDL (pgGraphQLSDL), with AST parser extracting model definitions, constraints, defaults, and relations (@relation). Also provides executable GraphQL schema generation with live Sequelize resolvers.

5. Comprehensive Integration Test Suite:

   • test/postgres/pgIntegration.test.js: 118 automated tests covering 17 categories:
     1. Database Connection & Pool Verification
     2. CREATE Operations
     3. READ Operations
     4. Filtering (16 operators: _not, _gt, _gte, _lt, _lte, _in, _contains, _startsWith, _endsWith, _exists, AND, OR, NOT)
     5. Pagination (first, skip, non-overlapping pages)
     6. Sorting (Ascending, Descending, Numeric, Timestamps, Nullable, Multi-column)
     7. UPDATE Operations
     8. DELETE Operations
     9. Relational Graph Traversal (1:1, 1:N, N:1, nested: User → Posts → Comments)
     10. DataLoader N+1 Request Batching & Memoization
     11. ACID Transactions (atomic commits and rollbacks)
     12. Schema Evolution (alter: true column addition preserving data)
     13. Error Handling (NOT NULL, unique constraint violations, type mismatch)
     14. Connection Lifecycle & Pooling
     15. Concurrency & Race Conditions
     16. GraphQL-to-Sequelize Type Mapping Verification
     17. Client GraphQL SDL Input & End-to-End GraphQL Query/Mutation Execution

6. Tooling & Scripts:

   • Added npm run test:postgres script to package.json.

🧪 Testing & Verification

• npm run test:postgres passes 100% (118/118 passing in ~3s)
• npm test passes with 100% success rate (220/220 passing across entire repository)
• Schema breaking-change diff validated (npm run schema:diff)
• Full end-to-end GraphQL query/mutation execution verified against live PostgreSQL
