Founder of MIZAN, the open standard for proof before payment.
x402 lets machines pay. MIZAN proves they earned it.
Machines now pay, hire and hand work to each other. Payment rails prove that an agent paid. Nothing proves the result it paid for was earned: every score, success rate and track record is someone's best try, and only the seller knows how many tries it took.
MIZAN is the call that runs before money moves.
- Check before you pay. One free call returns a signed ALLOW or REFUSE, against the buyer's own bar.
- Every try counted. Tries are registered before their outcomes; first-try results are shown beside best-of results, with the count.
- Prove without revealing. A proven claim is a zero-knowledge proof; the model, code and prompts never leave their owner's machine.
- Nothing asks to be trusted. Every answer is signed with a published key; every ledger entry folds to a signed head stamped hourly by two outside timestamp authorities; refusals are published beside passes, my own included.

I built MIZAN after my own results fooled me one too many times. So the first thing it judged was my own work, and it refused most of it, in public.
