• in the U-Boot directory: tools/mkimage -f ~/Projects/mediatek/mt6572/linux/mt6572.its ~/Projects/mediatek/mt6572/linux/kernel.bin
• then feed kernel.bin to the U-Boot and boot

note the FIT expects paths relative to linux tree, so you want to put mt6572.its into the linux tree
