Python 3.10 reaches end of life on 2026-10-31. This drops it, following modern-python/modern-di#552, which released modern-di 3.6.0. The
modern-dilower bound is unchanged: everymodern-di3.x release it admits supports 3.11.Changes
requires-pythonis now>=3.11,<4, and the 3.10 classifier is gone.lintnow runs on 3.11, and"3.10"is dropped from both thepytestandfloorsmatrices.Verification
On 3.11:
just lint-ciandjust test-cipass, with 100% coverage.Release
This is a breaking change because it drops a supported interpreter. Release it as a minor version, not a patch.
