Adding A2ASearch to the Resources section.

It's a searchable directory that indexes 4,800+ MCP servers alongside AI coding agents, CLI tools and agent skills. Each entry has the full README from GitHub, plus stars, languages and capabilities.

Free REST API for programmatic access:

GET https://a2asearch.ai/api/v1/agents?type=MCP+Server&search=database

Happy to adjust description or placement.

Thanks — looks like this repo no longer accepts README-only additions. Will track the right channel for directory submissions.

Reopening with a proper MCP server entry — now pointing to an actual MCP server (https://github.com/tadas-github/a2asearch-mcp) that users can install and use from Claude/Cursor to search the A2ASearch catalog. Apologies for the initial README-only submission.

Thanks for contributing to the MCP servers repo!

We've retired the third-party server list from the README in favor of the MCP Registry — see #3950 for context. The Official Integrations and Community Servers sections no longer exist in the README, so this PR no longer has a target.

Going forward, please publish your server to the MCP Registry using the quickstart guide:
https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/registry/blob/main/docs/modelcontextprotocol-io/quickstart.mdx

That's where server discovery now happens. Thanks for building on MCP!

Note: I'm working through the backlog with help from Claude Code to give everyone a prompt response.
