Summary

What is MerchantGuard MCP?

MerchantGuard is an AI-native fraud scoring and risk intelligence MCP server purpose-built for agentic commerce. It exposes 7 tools:

  1. Transaction Risk Scoring — Real-time risk assessment for payment transactions
  2. Merchant Lookup — Business verification and risk profile retrieval
  3. Agent Verification — Authentication and trust scoring for AI agents initiating transactions
  4. Dispute Prediction — Chargeback likelihood estimation before transaction completion
  5. Velocity Check — Transaction velocity and pattern anomaly detection
  6. Cross-Rail Fraud Detection — Unified fraud detection across fiat, stablecoin, and tokenized payment rails
  7. VAMP Analysis — Visa Acquirer Monitoring Program threshold analysis and early warning

Built with the TypeScript MCP SDK. Repository: https://github.com/MerchantGuardOps/merchantguard-mcp

Test plan

  • Verify the entry appears in correct alphabetical position (between memos-api-mcp and Meta Ads Remote MCP)
  • Verify the entry format matches existing community server entries
  • Verify the GitHub link resolves correctly

Thanks for contributing to the MCP servers repo!

We've retired the third-party server list from the README in favor of the MCP Registry — see #3950 for context. The Official Integrations and Community Servers sections no longer exist in the README, so this PR no longer has a target.

Going forward, please publish your server to the MCP Registry using the quickstart guide:
https://github.com/modelcontextprotocol/registry/blob/main/docs/modelcontextprotocol-io/quickstart.mdx

That's where server discovery now happens. Thanks for building on MCP!

Note: I'm working through the backlog with help from Claude Code to give everyone a prompt response.
