Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Python 3.9+
• Node.js 18+
• PostgreSQL (or Neon account)

1. Backend Setup (pc-forge-api)

cd pc-forge-api
python -m venv venv
# On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate | On Unix: source venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt

Create a .env file in pc-forge-api/:

DATABASE_URL=your_postgresql_connection_string
ALLOWED_ORIGINS=http://localhost:5173

Run the API:

uvicorn app.main:app --reload

2. Frontend Setup (pc-forge-ui)

cd pc-forge-ui
npm install
npm run dev

The application will be available at http://localhost:5173.
