Unable to use zones and zones resizing to fullscreen after failed snap

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Snappyzones without pip cache. I configure two zones and save. I then run SnappyZones. When I hold shift and try to snap a window it does not snap correctly. After failing I find in the zones.json that all zones have been set to my full screen dimensions.

thats... odd. There must be something particular with how Cinnamon registers windows to X (for reference I run KDE). I'll download an .iso and look into it

One thing I would be curious to see is how the module responds to a manually configured zones.json file. Try pasting this into your zones.json

Obviously this isn't a LTS but I'm curious if there are other mechanical issues down the pipe which I can look at also while trying to fix this current one.

That appears to have had the desired effect, one window was fullscreen and the other was about half sized

Unfortunately snapping is also broken, whenever I try and snap it updates my JSON to make the windows the full dimensions of my display
