Decision recorded. The owner answered in the Refinement session (2026-10-25), deciding the open items below on the facts:
go with whatever the facts/data/metrics + /discovery:research says and ensure we're aligned with SOLID, DRY/SSOT principles
I should only ever be in the loop ONLY when necessary (intent/vision changed, something came up during implementation that impacts trajectory/alignment, OR a high security risk) - I've covered this all before
Question asked: Keep #7566 parked as the one parking record for sharpen, and repoint cursor-pstack.md from #7589 to it?
[quote truncated; the full decision is at the link]
That decision settles the open questions. The sharpen skill stays parked until session evidence of the repeated ask is cited. The one piece of work that can go ahead now is a docs edit. It changes docs/upstream/cursor-pstack.md so it names #7566, not #7589, as the parking issue for sharpen. Likely related: #7589.
Released for re-triage under the owner's 2026-10-24 rule: an issue stops for a person only for an intent or vision question, a security call, a host or attended run, or spend outside prepaid credit. The hold label came off and intake triage runs again now; it re-applies a hold, with a numbered question, when one of those applies.
To hold this issue again, add needs-human (or status: needs-decision) and say why in a comment.
Refinement. A read-only run explored this repository, searched its issues and pull requests, and read the allowed docs to draft what follows. On an issue a listed human filed, it counts as the issue's spec once posted, while unedited; it is still model text, so check it.
Intended outcome: Lauren's sharpen ships as a one-paragraph, user-typed discipline skill once the owner's sessions show the repeated ask; until then it stays parked.
Has the reopen trigger (the owner's sessions show the repeated ask) fired, and which sessions show it?
RECOMMENDED: No: keep it parked; the owner cites session evidence in a comment if it has fired. Basis: The issue body has no session evidence and the only comment (kyle-sexton) just releases it for re-triage; only the owner can name the sessions.
Which issue is the canonical parking record for sharpen: this one (#7566) or #7589?
RECOMMENDED: Keep #7566 for the sharpen skill and fix docs/upstream/cursor-pstack.md:339 to point at it, or close one as a duplicate of the other. Basis: .base/docs/upstream/cursor-pstack.md:339
Is the outcome one user-typed discipline skill with the loosen-a-constraint line only inside it, with no change to be-ambitious or other discipline skills?
RECOMMENDED: Yes, as the issue's Outcome and Out of scope say. Basis: issue body Outcome and Out of scope sections

Decided: No. Keep it parked; only the owner can cite the sessions. Basis: no comment cites session evidence; body "Done when"; kept.
Is the outcome one user-typed discipline skill holding the loosen-a-constraint line, with no change to other discipline skills?
Decided: Yes, as the body's Outcome and Out of scope say. Basis: body "Outcome" and "Out of scope"; kept.
Acceptance criteria:
The body's two - [ ] "Done when" lines stand as written.
docs/upstream/cursor-pstack.md names one parking issue for sharpen, the same one this issue's decision picks (item 2).
Checks a person runs:
The owner cites session evidence of the repeated ask in a comment before any lane work starts.
The lanes App's pull request #10216 merged with Refs:, so this issue stays open and nothing starts the lane on it again. work-unblock removed status: ready and agent-ready, so the hourly triage sweep sends it back to intake triage, which decides what work is left and admits it again.
