Tinta Lab

Personal hands-on infrastructure laboratory focused on systems administration, networking, virtualization, monitoring and automation.

The purpose of this repository is to document practical infrastructure scenarios, configurations, troubleshooting procedures and automation developed in a controlled lab environment.


🚀 Active Workstream — Linux Operations / Tinta Status

The current Linux workstream focuses on operational automation and troubleshooting through a lightweight status service running on TINTA-LNX01.

Current implementation includes:

Implemented capabilities include:

  • System and service state collection using Bash
  • Memory and filesystem metric processing
  • Text processing with pipes, grep, awk, head and tail
  • Conditional health classification
  • Automated execution with cron
  • Application and cron logging
  • Linux users, groups and least-privilege permissions
  • Nginx-based web publishing
  • Temporary-file and atomic-rename deployment
  • HTTP availability validation
  • Build/content validation
  • Exit-code based failure handling
  • Controlled troubleshooting scenarios

  • Shell script without execute permission

This repository contains only laboratory information.

No production credentials, private keys, passwords, API tokens or confidential company configurations are stored in this repository.

Sensitive information from real environments is never published here.
