I spent years managing engineering teams, then moved back into an IC role just as AI tools started hitting their stride. It turns out that managing AI agents relies on many of the same skills: clear direction, good judgment, iterative feedback, and knowing when to intervene.
Now I build AI-enabled systems that help people automate routine work, make better decisions faster, and unlock more value from their own expertise. I also write about how AI is changing the way we build, learn, and work.
I’m genuinely excited about where this is heading, and hopeful about its positive impact on society. AI is giving people with domain knowledge and drive the ability to build things that previously required a whole team. It offers near-infinite learning and coaching at almost zero cost, reducing barriers to knowledge and helping level the playing field.
